    I think the author is referring to liberal recognition of the dignity of Christians, not the dignity of Christians as an objective fact.

    Admittedly, the linked article is so generalized as to be vapid. The the left-right/liberal-conservative memes are tiresome, partisan propaganda terms mainly used by religionists (who have been led astray by those love lies rather than Jesus Christ ), muckrakers and newbies to social political discussion.

    What in God’s name does the dignity of Christians – my dignity – have to do with gun control and the insurance mandate of the ACA (the truthful designation)? Bent but pitiful ideologues thinking they have a new revelation apparently.
